What is Chiropractic?

From back pain to allergies, migraines to ear infections; the diagnosis and care you can receive from your chiropractor is very effective.  Unless you have been or are a chiropractic patient you probably have thought, "Chiropractors are just back crackers."  This may very well be the most common misconception about what chiropractic care really is. Chiropractic care is so much more.

How?

Let’s get technical for a minute; the nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls every cell, tissue, organ, and system of your body. Bones (vertebrae) that cover your spine (the nervous system's information superhighway) can rub, stretch, choke, or irritate delicate nerve tissue. AND if the nerve tissue is irritated or choked… you can well imagine that irritation effects the cells, tissues, organs, etc. that the nervous system controls.
