Item Description:
ILChiro - Political Action Committee Donation
$100 monthly contribution (recurring)
Crusader level contribution - within the Fair Share Program.
Note: By selecting this recurring contribution, you hereby authorize the Illinois Chiropractic Society for the Illinois Chiropractic Society Political Action Committee (ILChiro PAC) to initiate payments from your credit card entered on the next screen. This authorization is to remain in full force and effect until ILChiro PAC has received notification from you of its termination allowing the ILChiro PAC a reasonable opportunity to act on it. Thank you for selecting this ongoing option, as it affords the ILChiro PAC the opportunity to plan for proper campaign contributions.
Why Should I Contribute?
- ICS initiates legislation each session that seeks to help chiropractors maintain their scope of practice and build profitability.
- ICS continues to educate policymakers and increase chiropractic awareness by sponsoring events with legislators and regulators through ILChiro PAC.
- ICS also works to defeat legislation introduced in the Illinois General Assembly deemed to be harmful to the chiropractic profession or its practitioners.
Every year interest groups, regulatory agencies and other health care practitioners introduce legislation affecting the chiropractic profession in Illinois. Unfortunately, there are nearly 20 other political action committees representing health care providers in the State, and they all have an impact on the perception and outcome of policy decisions that affect your practice daily.
If everyone at the table is expressing their point of view and we are not at the table, whom will the policymakers listen to? We MUST increase our ability to be heard and understood by legislators faced with our issues! Donate today and help eliminate the ignorance about your profession that minimizes you ability to practice!
Remember, the Illinois Chiropractic Society is not asking for this contribution - the legislators supporting your profession are asking.
Thank you for your contribution.
